I love the $5,000 loan offers I get. It's like "I'm paying $416 dollars towards my student loans, $334 on a car, and $90 minimum on credit cards and YOU want to give me more money?"

I hate capital one. I'm already a card member...have been for about 8-9 years now and they still solicit me and send me SPAM. Unreal.
JPMorgan Chase actually turned a profit this year. I guess they have the extra money.
You can get off the various junk mail lists and there is even a separate one for credit offers. See http://www.smartmoney.com/deal-of-th...story=20070206 ... we did the 2nd and 3rd steps listed and get virtually no credit card offers and s the amount of junk mail has dropped dramatically. Sucks that you have to pay someone $1 to get your name off a damn list but it's worth it.
Have any of you seen the new come on on the outside of the envelopes?
