They can't host an All-Star game at the SBC Center. The rodeo is here at that time.
I was looking at the AS location and I looked up next years game. I saw it was gonna be played in Houston at the Toyota Center.
I was wondering how long do you think it would be before San Antonio got to host another one? My cousin was saying it probably would be soon because they just made the SBC Center and all. But it was what 17 years since they last hosted it.
it hasn't even been ten years since SA has their All-Star game.
P.S. Interesting seeing the best dunks from past All-Star games...

Alot of things...I remember my cousin went there for a teachers convention. He walked on the floor and he said it was just dirty as . He wasn't surprised the Spurs wanted a new stadium.
Can you imagine all the dusting and cobweb removal they would have to do to get that place ready?
I'm sure they could do it at the 'Dome if they wanted, but your original post talks about the SBC Center. That's why I mentioned they can't do it there.
So that means we'll never host an ALL Star Game again, that blows.. i never realized that. Damn Rodeo...
I think one of the interesting things I put up there is that in the AS game here in SA, Brent Barry won the dunk contest. Now he plays for the Spurs. Pretty cool.
He looked like a little kid back then sorta like the way Beno looks now....was he a rookie or what?
