Preface: I like qualities from both candidates. My partisanship falls more in with republicans but I can easily agree with democrats. Moreover, I don't think I pull one way or the other because of affiliation - only because of quality, character, intelligence. I was for McCain at first, but hated his ploy to suspend the debate tactic to go ruffle through some papers and started leaning toward Obama. After the debate I swung back to McCain because I thought he clearly exhibited the Presidential air and foreign affairs knowledge necessary. However, I was also impressed with Obama's poise and thought he ran a very solid debate. In the end, I felt Obama was very good but McCain was a few notches above. Either way, I was just very happy to see two great candidates standing on stage. I always considered them subpar but after watching them go head to head on hard hitting issues without outside help was encouraging.

From the media I've scanned across including radio, tv, and internet for abc, msnbc, fox, and cnn it seems like Obama has a very strong backing overall.

Of course McCain has Hannity and Limbaugh, but of the programs that attempt to put on a face of neutrality, the coverage seems dramatically slanted.

Attempting to put aside your partisanship, what do you think?

Also, I'd be interested to know what republicans think the coverage is fair or towards McCain and what democrats think the coverage is towards McCain or fair.

Michael Savage is the least partisan of them all.

I'd say it trends toward Obama, but there are advocates on both sides that purport to be neutral....on all networks.

I like Anderson Cooper on CNN and David Gregory on MSNBC best if you're looking for news coverage that is for the most part unbiased.
