Now, let's see the conferences on Catholicism, Judaism and Hinduism. I've got $50 says they never happen.

I dont' have a problem with this kind of thing as long as there is equal access. If they want to go teach about catholocism one day, or hinduism one day, I'm all for it.More than 260 students attended a conference on Islam sponsored by the Council on American-Islamic Relations at Providence High School on Wednesday.
The all-day event started with a local Islamic religious leader reciting from the Koran and a CAIR representative reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
Students attended lectures on Islam and participated in discussions on a variety of topics.
"It was a beautiful day," said Sarwat Hussain, executive director of CAIR-San Antonio. "Many teachers and interfaith leaders also participated in the event and deemed it a great success."
With one rule. There should be NO active recruiting done at schools without some form of parental consent.

and then the satanists will want their day as well.. just keep all of this out of schools..
Actually, I take all the above right.
Providence is a private school. I had totaly forgotten that. So it doesn't even matter.
But I do think it's bad ass.
CAIR is a good group, and I think a lot of people here could use some educating on Islam from them.
yeah, private schools can do as they please..
Glad you caught yourself.Providence is a private school.
