What!?! Kind of hard to call Manny batting .500 with 2HR and 4 RBIs in 4 games quiet.
Big Papi
Manny being Manny
Big Papi and Manny are now on different teams, and both have been pretty quiet for most of the playoffs so far. Who do you think will come up clutch first?

I was responding to the other thread in this forum, where it was cited yesterday that "Ramirez is batting just .191 (9-for-47) with three homers in Philadelphia’s hitter-friendly ballpark."
So yes, although he did well in the previous series, the suggestion is that he might not do as well against Philly, if history is a predictor.
You said quiet so far. And Manny has been anything but quiet this postseason.
Manny will be Manny and I am hoping for a Boston vs LA series for the drama of it all.
Wow, I'd uh say that this poll is moot because Manny has been a freaking stud these playoffs....
Does anyone know Papi's stats this post season?
0-10 in this series with Tampa Bay.
Man, this is turning out to be a pretty sorry playoffs for both Manny and Papi....both currently on the brink of elimination...
teamwise, yes. individual stats, no.
As are Puerto Ricans.
Uh what are you talking about?
Manny Ramirez has had a fantastic playoffs.
Well perhaps, but how fantastic can it be if your team's still on the brink of elimination? It's like scoring a 50 pt game in basketball but having your team still lose. You'd trade the pts for a W if you needed to, in a heartbeat.
How does that make Manny's playoffs worse?
Just because he has a bullpen doesn't make his playoffs "bad"
