last years Spurs pick is without a team again.
the Bobcats just waived him, after he played only 2 preseason games in which he combined for 2 points.
on his way back to Austin?
bad for him, but one more sign that he's still far from NBA. and one more prove that playing well in the D-league and averaging 20 PPG there doesn't tell anything about the capability to qualify for the NBA.

btw. NBA.com and other sites still mix up Marcus Williams from Warriors and "our" Marcus Williams. they had the announcement that the Bobcats have waived him linked to the wrong one.
(I thought like, didn't notice that Williams was traded to the Bobcats. wow, waived after 2 games....did he pick Larry Brown's purse)

It'll be interesting to see what happens to him. The Clippers didn't even invite him back to training camp. He ended up signing a fully non-guaranteed contract with a team that had no roster room. The smartest move would be to head to Europe but he'll probably go back to the D-League.

I'd actually hope the Toros don't pick him up because he's simply not an NBA prospect. He can put up nice D-League stats playing at power forward but he's way too small to play power forward in the NBA. Until he shows a halfway decent perimeter game, he's a waste of time.

If this doesn't convince him to take his ass over to Europe, nothing will.
