Because everyone has done something in their past to warrant some shame... Minor errors in judgement as a teen or young adult (that don't adversely affect others) should not be held against anyone... they are part of the maturation process into adulthood...

I would be more concerned about his propensity for cold-blooded lies, but that goes for McCain as well...
