Tip-off is at 7 p.m., but the excitement begins from the moment the doors open at 6 p.m. as the first 10,000 fans will receive a one-of-a-kind Tim Duncan reversible doll delivered by AT&T. The first premium item of its kind in professional sports, the Tim Duncan reversible doll converts an AT&T cell phone into a miniature Tim Duncan in only a few small movements. Fans can only receive the Tim Duncan reversible doll on opening night, and as they say…the early bird gets the doll.
At 6:30 p.m., all fans are asked to be seated and in the bowl so the lights can be dimmed and the Opening Night SPURtacular can begin. From a Vegas-style theatrical lighting show to a never-before-seen Spurs video featuring highlights and greatest moments in Spurs history, the opening night extravaganza is not to be missed.
Grammy Award winning artists the Los Lonely Boys will add to the festivities with their performance of the National Anthem, followed by the new Spurs team introduction video and the debut of the 2008-09 Silver Dancers and of course, Coyote.
Tickets for opening night start at $10, with lower bowl seats available. Tickets can be purchased at all TicketMaster Ticket Center locations, charge by phone at (210) 225-TEAM, or online at ticketmaster.com or spurs.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the AT&T Center Southeast Box Office Monday through Friday from
8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on weekend event days at 10 a.m.

I'm not sure I understand it either but I'm wondering if the whole thing is a "toy". That the phone must be cloth and it unfolds into the Duncan doll? Just a guess...
