Mine logged on to nba.com just fine.
Do you have the NoScript plugin on your Firefox? That will block flash scripts unless you allow that particular website.
I am having trouble with the flash function in Firefox. For example, I go to Nba.com and it will show some flash material, but not others. It says: "
You have Flash installed, but you must have the most current version". It gives a link to the Adobe site, and I installed the latest version, but it does not play and I get the same message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do not think so. It worked yesterday, then today all of the sudden it would show some things and not others and it kept giving me that message.
Tried that Mouse, thanks. I already have the latest version, but I keep getting the message "you have flash, but need the most recent version" even though I already have it.
Go here:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...ShockwaveFlash
Download it. QUIT Firefox. Install. Start Firefox again.
I already did this, I cannot figure out why it is not working. I ran the test to on Adobe to see if it was working properly and to see if I had the most current version, and I do. I even uninstalled firefox, then re-installed it.

Hmm, I know NBA.com also uses silverlight from microsoft. I just don't think it will tell you to install flash however. That's just weird. I have no problems with NBA.com. What's funny too is that when I google for the error you posted, most links come up from NBA.com, so it might just be a glitch on their system.
I have searched all over for a fix and cannot find one; I appreciate any and all help. What is really weird is that it worked just fine 2 days ago, then all of the sudden.....
btw, does nba.com work ok in Internet Explorer (or Safari, Opera, etc.)?
Ya it works fine in my Explorer.
All I got left is uninstall/reinstall Firefox, but that's a pain in the ass if you have plugins, themes, settings that'll have to be reset.
Try going to the site using IE so you will know if it's your PC or firefox.
And if it did work at one time why not do a system restore to that date,
Click on this and tell me how many errors you get.

Ok, the next step is to buy a Mac.![]()
I already did that! Did not fix the problem.
It is firefox, not my pc. It works fine in IE.
1. Download this uninstaller from Adobe.com
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get...ash_player.exe
2. Download the 9.0r47 installer from OldApps.com
http://www.oldapps.com/Macromedia_Flash_Player.htm
3. Close Firefox
4. Run the uninstaller, then the installer
5. Open Firefox
