Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet is basically Jesus. There is only probably like 1 or 2 people in both DC and Marvel Universes that could take him with the Infinity Gauntlet.

Yeah it makes them somewhat reasonable, but GOTDAMN DBZ had some sick ass characters and scenes. The jap version was better for me though. Actually in movie 3 there was one scene where i preferred the english voices, this line is probably one of the sickest lines in the whole series:

I don't know about that. If we're doing meta-analysis, it's true that both are incredibly powerful. Some characters in DBZ have even made portals and rifts in reality, but that's occured in Marvel Comics too with guys like the Sentry and Black Bolt.
To answer the question, no. When Thanos had the infinity gauntlet (and if anyone read Marvel: The End, not even the Living Tribunal could stop him), he had power beyond limit.
Ah, but The End was when he came into possession of the Heart Of The Universe, not just the Gauntlet.

Thanos is a badass, he is even pretty fast for a big guy in Marvel vs Capcom 2. He is nearly untouchable in War of the Gems.
