Clippers Awaiting Word On Baron's Hip

Clippers point guard Baron Davis is expected to miss Monday's game against the Jazz as the team re-evaluates his injured left hip.

He remained in Los Angeles over the weekend and is still nursing a sprained left ring finger as well.

"It's probably going to be three or four days and we'll kind of re-evaluate," Clippers Coach Mike Dunleavy said. "I guess tomorrow [Monday] we'll know a little bit more about where he's at."

Davis suffered the injury early in the second quarter and did not return in the Clippers' overtime loss to the Nuggets on Friday night.

"He took a hard hit," Dunleavy said. "We'll have to wait and see. I don't think there's anything structurally wrong. So that's the good news. Obviously comes at a bad time for us."
