    Thomas Kean, known for his multiple roles as chairman of the 9/11 Commission, president of Drew University, and former governor of New Jersey, will present, “Lessons Learned: 9/11 and the War on Terrorism,” during the 2005 Flora Cameron Lecture on Politics and Public Affairs at Trinity University. His free public lecture will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 31 in Laurie Auditorium.

    James E. Crisp, a Texas-born historian who drew the wrath of many for supporting a Mexican officer’s account of Davy Crockett’s death at the Alamo, will share his detective work into the history of Texas independence during a presentation at Trinity. Dr. Crisp will speak on “Sleuthing the Alamo: Davy Crockett’s Last Stand and Other Mysteries of the Texas Revolution” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, in the Chapman Auditorium. The event is free and open to all.

    The Right Honorable Lord George Robertson, a former Member of Parliament in the United Kingdom and former Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), will present the Spring 2005 Trinity University Distinguished Lecture on March 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Laurie Auditorium.

    Doors to Laurie Auditorium will open to the public at 6:45 p.m. Audience members are asked to enter through Doors 2-6. Trinity faculty, staff, and students may enter through Door 4 as early as 6:30 p.m. with a valid University identification card.
