co-MVPs on the same team?
Tony Parker SAS 33.3
Joe Johnson ATL 28.0
Tim Duncan SAS 27.0
Chris Bosh TOR 26.0
Amare Stoudemire PHX 25.8
This should be an honor to all spurs fans, although i can not make sure that whether both of them can keep it or not, However, at least i feel pretty good right now. both of them are worth our admiration.
co-MVPs on the same team?
Parker is around #7 as well with assists and Duncan is around #4 in boards.
I'd rather have the wins
Same here, but if the spurs has more wins with nice individual statistics of Tony or Duncan, i think that it will be better, this is what i wanna say.
bitter sweet.
its an honor. but wouldn't it be sicker to have tim, tony, manu and mason to average around 20pts for the season?
Same here.
It won't be for this year but the next step for TP is to be a MVP contender...he's on the way for.....we can already celebrate his next All star selection....
Minutes per game
Tim Duncan 41.8
Tony Parker 38.8
This should be alarming and terrifying to all Spurs fans. If it means Parker and Duncan have average stats for them and be fresh for the playoffs, I'd rather score 84 a game and be called boring.
They will be worthless down the stretch if they keep this up.
It is showing the lack of balance in the spurs attack. The leading scorers last year were all at around 19 a game (Parker Duncan and Gino). They have to work a lot of kinks out.
was it an honor for magic fans to have Tmac leading the scoring ranking?![]()
It's not an honor, it's a sign that Bizarro Pop is not what he seems. I predict a Scooby Doo moment around the all star break where Manu yanks Pop's face off to reveal that it's Mike D'Antoni under that beard.
Tim's and Tony's PPG show how badly the Spurs offense drops off from the 3rd player on down. Such imbalance is extremely unhealthy.
That they are doing it is admirable. That they must do it isn't.
Tony Parker is 26, unless he plays about 42mpg, I just can't see him being tired in the playoffs.
Tim's a different story, but its obvious he will return to normal minutes when we get Ginobili back, and hopefully Ian will come around quickly.
bad sign....tim needs to be about 20 and tony about 18 manu when hes back needs to chip in 17 and mason needs to give us 12-14. But Ian will be the key, he needs to give us 10ppg 7rpg and 2 blocks in 26mins
It's bad news. that means the rest of the team is garbage.
we can't have Duncan playing 40 minutes a night for the entire season
It just proves once again that defense wins championships. Otherwise, the Nuggets would've won the le last year.
this is bumped by 2.5 minutes because of the double OT game.
39.3 and 36.3 aren't so bad.
I don't like the minutes they are playing. Duncan's played 40 in at least three of the games.
Yes, because I had the foresight to draft them both for my fanstasy teams, knowing full well no one else could score on the team over the first few months.
It's a huge honor.
I don't care if they finish the season averaging 30 or 19 ppg, I want another le, just to frustrate Boston or L.A
You can't just remove minutes that they played because it doesn't suit you. Those are their numbers.
