i have to admit, the line seems absurd. imo, when relatively healthy this Cal team is as good as they've had in years. close first half, with SC wearing them down in the second. anyone who has watched SC play this year knows just how unreal their defense is.

sc is not as good when they play better teams. they have beaten up all the terrible teams nicely, but thats nothing to brag about in the ty pac-10.

As much as I want to say Cal upsets SC, the game is at home and SC does win.

if SC thrashes a team, that doesn't mean they aren't good. Carroll's been thrashing teams in the top 10 for a living.

the Pac-10 just isn't that weak. Cal, Oregon, Arizona, Oregon State and SC are all good teams. Stanford is decent. public perception is not reality.
