Yup, was between 'Skins, Pats, Saints & Steelers!
Gratz bigzax, you guys got a loud mouth loser.
Good move by the Skins.
The Skins have some good guys in place and Hall has been terrible this year, but...
The team has some guys out with injuries (Sean Springs, where art thou?), Smoot's played every game but is banged up, Leigh Torrance has been rough as the nickel back, and the Skins DBs are more inclined to deal with big physical receivers as opposed to smaller speedsters.
If Hall can come in with any kind of a chip on his shoulder, he gives them added depth and another body to throw at the smurfs lined up in the slot.
Worthwhile gamble.
Luckily, the Skins have Rogers and Springs (hopefully by the next match-up) to throw at TO.
Exactly, as a nickel or dime back I don't see how you can rate this as a bad move. More depth at that position is always a good thing seeing as how often it feels as though Redskins DBs have been injured or at least banged up the past few years.
Nice pickup by the Skins. It was also smart to give him a 1 year deal. Make the kid earn his money.
I think a winning environment might be good for him.
our new punt returner and backup cb for cheap...sounds good to me.
and he can actually catch the ball which is a plus when trying to intercept...
he played like for the raiders...but he's a skin now and the fourth cb...still young and we got a good db coach...
randy moss played like for the raiders too...![]()
Dude's a quitter. One thing I can always respect TO for, is giving it his all every time he goes out there. With Moss, you never know.
Finally, the Redskins have a corner the Cowboys can beat. I hope he plays.
I can just see Hall pick off Romo and run it back for a TD.....better not happen but if it does it wouldnt surprise me.
as a #1 corner - yes. as a #4 - he's a HUGE upgrade over Torrence.
Yes as number 4 he is an upgrade but he still is Toast.![]()
don't care what you think of hall. once again a team screws a guy out of his contract. signed him to 70 million, paid only 8. ridiculous. raiders suck balls.
Guy got paid 8 million dollars to be the worst corner in the NFL. Good work if you can get it. If you don't think it's fair, talk to the union who agreed to it.
$8 million for 8 weeks of work? We should all be so 'screwed'.
As it is, EVERY player that signs a contract like that knows that he will never see the entire dollar figure. They ask for the back-loaded years specifically to force the team to renegotiate their deals after 3 or 4 years. It's pretty worthless that the media keeps reporting the back-loaded years like they're actually going to figure in. For big contracts - the bonuses are the only thing that really matters.
No I want be screwed.
There are defensive linemen that can make a catch when you throw the ball right to them, but it doesn't mean they can cover. Are you referring to something else?
you, Manny. Any ing idiot could have caught that after getting beat at the line.
