Then again, if you go back even further, you got the dubiously scheduled 3 game down time between games 6 and 7 of the hornet's series.........
I keep going back, and going back, and going back.
If you want my take, the bad luck started with game 1 of the Laker series....Pop pulls Bowen out and sits on the lead.
Our team has been going through a gauntlet of bad luck ever since.

kinda reminds me of this season
That was bad but that airplane fiasco was the night before. The bad luck seems to have started when the Spurs let Phoenix win Game 4 instead of sweep their azz.
After that, the Spurs had to fight through a Game 5 then go on the road where Duncan got sick and Pop for some unknown reason wouldn't put Bowen on Peja. It's been downhill ever since.
Should have swept the Suns![]()
We have to all face it. Every one of us. Every spurstalker. Go to the mirror, look at it, face yourself, and just admit it.
God is a ing Laker fan. He is. It's ing blatant. Accept it, deal with it, and realize that even God can't take away the championships we've already earned, and be at peace.
I'd buy your line of reasoning for a dollar
We're doomed for the rest of Finley's contract.
then hes probably just a Duncan fan than right?

then, the plane trouble, then they couldn't get to a hotel, then hrs later they faced a well-rested Lakers, then how can we forget the most painful-that foul against Brent Barry
...
I cannot believe the Lakers & the Celtics were given long rest
before their finals showdown but they can't let the Spurs had a day-off for the WC finals ..
it's 'bout time for a clean cut Pop
God is punishing us because of Sequ's permanent ing
Parker's NBA Live Cover.....
Horse . Everything evens out in the end. The Spurs have had more than their share of good luck. It is now the time of the PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS!
the lights going out in staples center last year in the playoffs.
