No posts from monoslob on Bret Favres leading the Jets down to the game winning field goal. Does Mom shut the lights out on your basement at 9? Or did the group home manager tell you to put "Tom" away and order you and stench to keep it quiet?

And go ahead and bag on the Chargers all you want genius. A Norvron team will never ever win the SuperBowl. I accept that.

I also didn't say about them beating Buffalo last week. I noticed you didn't either. So you're telling me that you aren't around when the Patriots win, but you troll around like a got anytime they lose? Nice one asshole.

And I can give a less if you try to minimize this -

    Patriots 6-4
    Chargers 4-5

    So off, gs.

And this screws a lot of teams, so it's not like I'm whining about my team only....but they've gotta do something about this bull overtime format.

The Pats were banged up as and still looked like they were going to win. The same old Jets almost blew the big lead in the 2nd half, and the same old Pats came back poised and almost won the game. NE was extremely short-handed, but damn it still feels good the Jets finally beat them

I thought it was pretty pathetic of NE to piss away that sick touchdown that Randy Moss caught at the end of regulation by letting Favre throw pass after pass to Keller for first downs. Didn't they sack him twice and have the Jets pinned deep near their end zone with a 3rd and 25 or something? That was a really poor effort by their defense.

Another thing NE shot themselves in the foot with by losing this game, other than the division lead, is that Indy now owns a tiebreaker over them if the Pats can't regain the lead in the AFC East. That's if the Colts win on Sunday but I really ing doubt Sage Rosenfels has gotten over the mind that happened to him when he choked against the Colts earlier this year.

Dude your team has lost to Denver, Miami, Buffalo and New Orleans and has two almost losses to KC and Oakland... You shouldn't be talking to any fans of a team with a better record than yours with that laundry list of teams that have put their mark on your team's L column.

Or they could hire a new head coach every 3 weeks and rack up massive 77 offensive yard totals every week.

^good post, it's only like the 100th time you've done the exact same thing.

Seriously, do you contribute anything besides talk? I love talking crap as much as anyone else, but I also enjoy actual discussions every so often. As far as I can see, all you do is talk , no matter what. And let's not mention your incredibly gy obsession with JamStone in the basketball forum. Unless you can show me otherwise, it looks like you bring nothing of substance, and that's just sad. You can do what you like, but you're definitely one of the gayest ing posters on this site now.

You have to wait till they start winning les, then root for them, like 99.9% of their fanbase did.

What part don't you like? It's been done that way forever, which is one reason I like it. I seem to recall that statistically the team that wins the toss doesn't necessarily win the game more often. The deferring option or giving the home team some extra advantage might be cool, but there should be no reason to tweak it further than that. There's really not a better way of doing it.

It beats the out of the college format, which takes the kicking game and special teams completely out of the equation. And it's an order of magnitude above hockey, which is kind of like having a dunk contest to decide basketball games.

I say they should just have an 8 minute period of football with shorter play clocks. Makes it more fair like the basketball format but gives you more chances with the shorter play clock.

Lol true, but he's also a Raiders fan, so I strongly doubt he could be a bandwagonner.

The college format is re ed, but the NFL at least needs to give both teams a chance. How can it be done? I don't know, but the NFL isn't paying me to come up with a solution.

And the whole "your defense just needs to step up" is a stupid argument. In the NFL these days and the rules set up, offenses are already at an advantage. And after playing four quarters of football, any defense is going to be worn out. Sure, there's times where defenses do step up on OT, but for the most part the game is decided by the coin flip.
