He has neither gained weight nor grown a beard, headed to Europe nor exiled himself to some distant ivory tower.
Instead, Sen. John F. Kerry is back on Capitol Hill, working hard to fashion himself into something rare in American politics: a presidential also-ran who isn't an afterthought.
That's what I'm talkin' about..right there!
Say what you will about Kerry the man is doing his job, and some may say that if was doing that in the first place he may have won the election, and I wouldn't fault them for saying that.
But I still give props to Senator John Kerry. You be your own judge.

What did you expect him to do Joe? He had a post that he didn't vacate. Gore didn't.
Flip-flops? I wouldn't be throwing that around since Bush has been doing some flip-flopping of his own.
