If there are only two teams with a tie then the tiebreaker is the head-to-head matchup between the teams. So if OU beats Tech and then loses, with Texas and Texas Tech both at 11-1, Tech would win the Big 12 South and play Mizzou in the Big 12 le game.
If there are three teams with a tie then the tiebreaker is the team with the highest BCS ranking, and it's hard to tell who would be ranked highest right now if OU beats Tech this weekend. But as it stands, Tech controls their destiny. If they beat OU this weekend they are probably in the national championship game just cuz that would make their last two games against Baylor and Mizzou.
