This large bit of greenery bares more than a passing resemblence to one of cinema's greatest creations.

This is the tree that looks like Godzilla, and if you're not careful, it might flutter in the breeze at you.

Local TV stations in Japan have been getting rather excited about the tree, which is located in the Chiba Prefecture.

The owner of the tree insists no alterations have been performed in order to make it more Godzilla-like.

The Godzilla shape is only visible from a certain angle.

I didn't realize it looked like the Japanese Godzilla till I really looked at it.
