If this is true, I am so pumped. I do not want him to rush it back though.
Parker said on RMC (french radio) he will be ready to play in a week.
He started running and shooting and he said he feels much better.

What did Pop said about this?
?????
i wont believe it till Mcdonald writes about it
McDonald, today:
http://spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110084Meanwhile, Tony Parker -- the Spurs' other injured All-Star -- continues to make progress in his return from a left ankle sprain. Injured Nov. 11, Parker has commenced a rehab regimen under the supervision of strength coach Mike Brungardt.
"Tony is moving the ankle around, lifting on it," Popovich said. "He's on the court taking a few shots here and there. It's looking pretty good. He's progressing pretty well."
Parker is expected to miss as many as three more weeks.
because he proves he knows so much![]()
he didn't talk about, he said he doesn't want to rush things, he will play if he's 100%
Got him!
If Parker comes back in a week or even two, thats very good news.
I say they unleash Tony and Manu on Dec. 2nd at home against Detroit with Tom Petty playing the national anthem, 5 white doves being released to signify the drive for 5 and a B52 fly by inside the arena with 2 guys parachuting in from the rafters to signify Manu and Tony swooping in to save the day.
IMO TP wants to come back quickly to not let Lebron as the best scorer in the league. I think that in this interview he is a little bit over optimistic
and my english sucks
I wish it were true, as it would be great news for the Spurs and remove some of the suck from my Fantasy Team.
However, I'll believe it when I see it, or at least hear Pop say it.
Nah I doubt it. I think they will definitly be conservative about TP.
Yeah, I can't buy one week. Maybe that's when he'll start practicing fully but I expect at least two more weeks.
But it's good that Parker is feeling better than expected![]()
His last French interview about the injury sounded like he was on suicide watch
Exactly ! I think that TP is on the over reacting mode!
I'm glad Tony is doing better, but anyone else wondering how his return will affect Hill's growth?
How, hes a rookie. Very small expectations from him at this point.
If Parker comes back, Hill will be backup, all that I would expect out of him is for him to be "aggressive"...to quote TP
The only thing I'm wondering right now is how his return will help the spurs to get a good rank in the Western Division at the end of the year.
For the rest I think it will be good for Hill's growth.
He's been married long enough that, well, "tension and stress" are allowed to build more.
