Uh oh could mean trouble for Heat.
You never want to see something like that happen, like him or not...
Sucks for Miami if this is serious. Sucks for Shaq, too. This is his contract year.
stat line on nba.com shows that he only played 2 minutes. Not good.
Saw the highlight on espn.com. He's done for the game, and they're calling it a knee strain/sprain. More tests tomorrow.
Shaq's signed through 2006 although he's trying to get an extension now.
The way that shaq works with injuries he might be out for a month. Ain't tryin to joke about it, just that he likes to take his time.
Ah, thanks, G-money. Only Shaq would work the extension this early.
I wonder if Mourning still wants to sign? I'm sure he was counting on being the 20 minute sidekick.
Yeah sounds like Zo will be starting sooner than he thought.
Which means he'll be sick/injured again sooner than we thought.
that stinks i hope its not serious
oh yeah?
hope Shaq would exaggerate a little bit and miss a couple of games.
But this is not a Spurs, but Detroit gain. so good luck Zo.
This just means Shaq wants a mid-season vacation to rest up before starting the season again.
..right![]()
& hope that the media cooperates...![]()
Holy crap, Wang Zhi Zhi is chanelling Shaq, six straight points for the Chinaman.
Zo must be some sort of jinx. Keep that guy away from any team I root for.
one man less to tds mvp compe ion run and championship run
I seriously hope shaq is ok, this is not good for the NBA... i want to meet the best team possible in the playoffs.
Miami lost to Chicago. watch out: Detroit is now @ #2 in the East. Take your time ShaQ.
cavs are in trouble
will not be long before bulls catch them
and after that terrible star
I couldn't agree more, Shaq is one of the best in the league, and I want to see him crying after we sweep em in the playoffsI seriously hope shaq is ok, this is not good for the NBA... i want to meet the best team possible in the playoffs.![]()
and it made your day![]()
Shaq is just fine...xrays are negative. Thank goodness.
Are they going to do an MRI? I thought that was the definitive standard for soft tissue (cartlidge or ligament) damage.
It was a shock to me that they never did an MRI on Tim after he hyperextended his knee.
