    you honestly think that the Hornets won't be in the playoffs?

    this is the year 2008, right? I'm not in some type of weird time warp where the hornets still suck?

    There's never any accounting for hurt players even in the best of times, and there's key players some squads that are pretty high risk. The Rockets are eternally poised to hit a bad stretch of those and fall out of contention. Nash and Shaq are on the wrong side of their physical prime, quite possible one or both of them could get lost at any time. And that's assuming there's no trades too. If you made your projections this time last year nobody would have had the Lakers higher than a seventh seed.
