    Just wondering. It may or may not mean much. Charlotte Bobcats are 4th.

    Yes and no. Could be a sign of good D, could be a by-product of the pace being so slow with Tony and Manu missing so much time to this point. Opponents field goal % is a better indicator IMO.

    That's pretty good in my book. Over the last 2 weeks, the Spurs have been getting better and better defensively. GHill is a standout defender and Mason is pretty good.

    The Spurs don't play at a fast pace so it is also a factor in the low PPG. If you compensate for the slower pace, Defensively, I'd say the Spurs are defensively around #7 in the NBA. I think to start the season, I'd rank them about #22 defensively but have improved quite a bit.

    Considering how badly they stunk the first five games of the year, if they're actually third right now, that's huge. That basically means their defense is as good as anyone's right now. Now that they are healthy, it's time to start getting that margin up a bit.
