Chris Webber, Matt Barnes and Michael Bradley to the 76ers for Kenny Thomas, Corliss Williamson and Brian Skinner.
Ooooooooookay.
Just saw it mentioned on ESPNnews.
Chris Webber, Matt Barnes and Michael Bradley to the 76ers for Kenny Thomas, Corliss Williamson and Brian Skinner.
Ooooooooookay.
C-Webb, Matt Barnes, and Michael Bradley....for Brian Skinner, Coliss Williamson, and Kenny Thomas.
Bdiddy is supposedly headed to Golden State also on the trade front.
Edit: haha I beat you.![]()
link?
Well, there's your blockbuster. Difficult to see what was so wrong with Webber this year that he had to go. The Kings at least get some size back.
Maloofs are broke, apparently.
AI and Cwebb? nice duo
Wow.
Happy for AI. But confused by Ramento's logic here. Guess they're writing off the season.
It's all over sports center right now.
Kings have given up on this year.
Philly just locked up the Atlantic and #3 seed.
How do those salaries even match up? Why would the Kings trade their franchise player for a bunch of scrubs, esp with Peja already talking about leaving next year?
That's a weird trade. Is Sacto mailing in the season? First Christie, now C-Webb. Strange times.
"See, we can't keep players like Chris without a new arena!"
Prelude to a franchise move.
Booked.
what the is sac doing???
Webber and Peja were not getting along, looks like Sacramento wants to build around Peja and Miller.
Damn this blows, I just made a big trade sending away Brad Miller in a fantasy league I'm in, now he's gonna be the man in teh middle in Sacramento. in' A.
Now AI is only the second-most-tattooed player on his own team.
That's just a huge move for the Sixers, combined with some of their young talent that was showcased during All-Star weekend this could be a pretty good team in the East, I wonder if they are done yet, if they could deal Robinson and his expiring 12 million dollar contract for the right player(s) they could be even better...
I agree. I don't see why Sac-town made this deal. Webber is supposed to be their franchise player! Have they given up on their nucleus?
I dig the logic here. Las Vegas Kings? I can see the playing card logo now."See, we can't keep players like Chris without a new arena!"
Prelude to a franchise move.
Booked.
Webber is playing on no legs and is a breath away from a major injury. He can't even play back-to-back games too often anymore. I think the Kings did what they had to do to get rid of Webber, pacify Peja and get back three pretty good players.
Kings got the better end of the deal.
