    Baylor beats Tech next year.

And yes, I will bump this thread whether I am right or wrong.

Number 10 in the Green and Gold is the closest thing to VY I've ever seen. And he's an infinitely better passer already. He is going to spelunk Tech without lube.

i thought for sure this was going to be a thread about how OU will embarass themselves adn the confernece again, on natl tv again.

but i agree. griffin is the . ive watched a couple baylor games this year and man that guy is crazy good.

edit:its too bad more players dont stay in texas. then baylor and gies would be alot better and make things mroe interesting in the home state. instead of ou and osu riding to glory on texans and hten ignoring that fact.

    naw...

this was their only shot, we just lost by 44, and it was obvious that we would come out flat. they couldnt take advantage.

Failor will still be at the bottom of the barrell next season

still? the Aggies feel left out.

if Baylor weren't stuck in the Big 12 South, they could have had a 8-4 season rather than 4-8. They have a decent team and Griffin is a stud. Bowl game next year for them.

Baylor's going to surprise a couple of teams next year. They might not have a winning big-12 record or anything, but they're going to get a couple of wins and scare the crap out of a few others. I'm interested to see how Griffin helps recruiting this coming year.

i agree. I know as a Tech fan, they already scared the crap out of me once. no need for a second time. LOL

If anyone sleeps on that team, they will ruin someone's season, if not more than just one.

this is Baylor's schedule for 2009:

    9/5: at Wake Forest
    9/19: Connecticut
    9/26: Northwestern State
    10/3: Kent State
    10/10: at Oklahoma
    10/17: at Iowa State
    10/24: Oklahoma State
    10/31: Nebraska
    11/7: at Missouri
    11/14: Texas
    11/21: at Texas A&M
    11/28: Texas Tech

    Things to notice:

    1) Three of the four non-conference teams on the schedule, Baylor played this season. WF (blowout loss), NW St. (blowout win), and Uconn (barely lost).

    2) Only ONE week off. And it's between the 1st and 2nd games of the season, hardly when they need it. When the Big 12 schedule begins, Baylor doesn't get a single week off until the season ends. Damn that's brutal. I still think they can get to 6-6 though.

    "brutal" is an understatement.

Wake Forest and UConn are two good teams and playing at Iowa St is no gimme for Baylor.

I'm struggling to find 4 wins in there for them.
