Doesn't a stun gun require you to actually get close to the "perp"? That's too scary.
Not necessarily if you see potential trouble with a perp you can use it as a deterrant u cAn pull it out and tell someone to back the off. If you use it properly you will have it put in your hand while wking to your ca with your groceries, taking a walk at might or going from your car to your home
