Love changes. When I first set my eyes on the Spurs after the game in their locker room at the Hemisphere. (youth for christ club gathering) I knew there wasnt anything else I wanted to do. I wanted to play for them. I cut yards mostly ours, so I could buy a rim and I put it up by myself. I was the Iceman with 3 seconds left, only we never loss to the Bullets. Im a few years from being a Grandpa Im sure of it. Heck might even have to help raise them as well. I still play basketball. And I even get to be on that court during gametime. But Ive learned through the years. I love Basketball. I dont love the Spurs. I dont love the NBA. They just happen to be the ones responsible for me going out there and exercising when exercising is supposed to be work. Not fun........ And Im lucky I guess. After the Spurs won their first Championship I knew deep inside, thats all I needed. The rest have been sweet. But after the first, they havnt been the same. Unlike many men my age who's storys are most likely close to the same. I seen my team win the whole thing. With my own eyes. And noone can take that away. Not even guys like Fab and Kurt. hahahahahaha
