poor payton? screw him.
First the Lakers screw him over for like the day after he excersizes his option by trading him to the celtics....now, when he finally gets used to Boston and is in talks about an extension, he gets traded to the lowly Hawks. I doubt he reports, and I'm interested to see if he hangs it up or tries to get released so that he can go back west as a FA.

Word is the Hawks will waive him, so he'll be able to work out his own deal with a West team if he wishes.
Would Minny pick him up?
Houston would be the logical choice.

Dunno, I think James was the big pickup for them. Can't waive Moochie either.

Plus, I just can't see GP meshing very well with Gumby.
