I'm telling you, playing with the other SuperStar Olympians has woken up the real Melo. He's playing defense, getting rebounds and making some shots this year.
I thought he might get rookie of the year over LeBron a few years back, but I was wrong. Nuggets need to keep him, they were right to dump AI.
Still, 33 point in a quarter is monumental. Can't take that away from him.

Don't let the haters get to you. I sure don't. I have liked Melo since his first year. I mentioned above I thought he might win Rookie of the year, I must have had a reason. Perhaps you would be kind and tell us about how he did his first year, and why he didn't win it? I am not taking anything away from LeBron that year, it was just my feeling Melo would get it.
Melo's a great player. The Nuggets seem to be clicking right now. Hopefully that won't continue.

I just don't understand how one individual player puts up 15 shots in 12 minutes and still goes to the line 6 times. That's ridiculous. Did any other Nugget put up a shot in that quarter? I assume yes. Wow.
i'm not a fan of punch and run melo, but 33 points in a quarter on 12/15 shooting, 4 of 5 from 3, is crazy. talk about being in the zone...wow
