It seems they have Pop's quotes under Hill. If they correct it I'll edit this.
Hill's interview is in the video.

    Video here.

    Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich

On the game - “It was a tough game for both teams, both teams are really dragging. Neither team was really sharp, but I was glad to see our guys hang in there and get it done. We played pretty good defense against one of the best teams in the east right now. Those young guys are play well right now, they played good defense. We’re happy to get it over with.”

On Manu Ginobili tonight - “Well, Manu is capable of making plays. He’s done that his whole career in Europe and here. You just saw another example of that.”

On Michael Finley tonight - “Finn was crucial, he came in for Roger (Mason Jr.) at that point and he made three or four jumpers in a row. If that doesn’t happen we’d be talking about a loss right now. He came in really aggressive and strong, he did a wonderful job.”

On Tim Duncan tonight - “Timmy is a warrior. He doesn’t want me to take him out of the game at all. Every time I do he says, ‘I’m fine, I’m ready to go.’ You know that kind of thing. He’s just the base of everything we do. He was tough tonight.”

On Matt Bonner tonight - “Bonner is taking good advantage of the minutes that went to Robert (Horry).”

On having George Hill close out the game instead of Tony Parker - “I think he’s (Parker) spent a lot of energy, he’s trying to get back into shape. He just had a tough night and that’s allowed. He’s a human being and he’s having a tough night tonight.”

    George Hill

    Tim Duncan

On the game - "It’s a long night all the way through. I know everyone is kinda tired and kinda fighting through it, but you forget about that stuff when the game is on the line. You’re just trying to play as hard as you can. It was a good result for us obviously…not the smoothest game. I think we played well enough to win and those are the kind of games we like to take with us.”

On Michael Finley - "Finley was great. He made some really tough moves and some really tough shots in a situation where they were really coming back. They hit some shots and it didn’t seem like anyone else could get it done. He was a big lift for us. We used a lot of guys tonight. A lot of guys picked us up and made plays tonight. Just a great situation where you can look back at the beginning of the season where these guys got more time and got a little more comfortable being on the floor because of that.”

On George Hill - "He stepped up and played well. There were some very experience guys he was playing against and I thought he held his own.”

On Manu Ginobili - "Manu carried it for us. He made some big shots and obviously those free throws down the stretch. He loves games like that…he loves to play in situations like that. It’s just great being able to give the ball to a guy like that and let him create moves and create shots.”

On Matt Bonner’s effort on those second-chance rebounds and points - "I don’t know if it was actual effort! It had to have been the luckiest bounces I’ve ever seen in my life! They kinda dropped in his lap and he laid them up! It was the right place at the right time…I guess you gotta go to the offensive board for it to happen. He was opportunistic!”

    Head Coach Mike Woodson

On the game - "We had a slow start, but our defense was pretty solid. We missed some shots early and they had their way early, but we were able to get back into the game from a defensive standpoint as I thought it was pretty much a slugfest back and forth, but then again we had the technicals down the stretch. But it was a loose ball that they came up with that Ginobili made a great play on so overall they made plays when they had to.”

On the technical fouls down the stretch - "Well, you don‘t like to see your players get technicals, not in a close game like tonight but through the heat of the battle anything is likely to happen. That’s something I have to police a little better.”

On being out rebounded tonight - “It‘s effort, that was one of the things discussed during pre-game this morning as we talked about having to rebound against this team and Bonner came out and established himself off the bat and then it was a long night for us in terms of rebounding but we have to have all five guys rebounding so that we can have a legitimate shot of winning.”

On not playing Josh Smith and Marvin Williams down the stretch -
“I mean, there might be nights like that. I thought Mo and Flip were doing a fantastic job for us and I ended up putting Marvin back in at the two-minute mark but I thought they carried us until that point and kept us in the game so I didn’t want to change.”

    Flip Murray

On the game -"I’m not sure what to say. Slow starts are something we really need to work on as a team. We can’t continue to start games the way we did tonight. When you play a team like the Spurs you can afford a slow start. Other than the slow start tonight we still had an opportunity to win this game. The two technical fouls called during the forth quarter really changed the momentum of the entire game. After those two technical’s the Spurs were able to regain control of the game.”

On Team play - "We really need to keep a level head. We came out tonight and competed hard most of the game. We can live with ourselves knowing we left everything on the floor. This team has played three really great teams and we still have one more game on the road. All we can do is go strong into Miami and hope for a win.”

50+minutes the previous night and he's still raring to go. Booyah!

No, he is just a really fast learner of the Spurs' system.

Nope those were Horry's to lose. We all know how Pop goes with old n' rusty over young n' energetic almost every chance he gets. Thank god Tolliver isn't her anymore to possibly take any minutes away from Bonner. Glad to see Bonner really showing his potential. If he can play this way the rest of the season, then he'll be the best big Tim's had since the Admiral.

    That was funny.

Thanks for the link, I hadn't seen the interview. I like Hill alot. I thought he handled himself well in the interview, and I love his confidence. I hope it keeps him aggressive on the court.

It's a nice story. A school on no one's radar, a hard working, humble kid with a game. He fits this team in every way.
