knicks have 4 draft picks
that is the only way they are going to improve the team
knicks have all bad contracts there is no cap relief in sight
I do not think thomas is the smartest gm but how would you suggest he improve that team?

Do the Knicks even have European scouts? If not, they have little hope to improve with SA's draft picks. I don't even think Thomas likes European players. His first act as Knicks GM, barely hours after taking over, was to cut Maciej Lampe. I remember the Knicks fans being thrilled at the draft (at MSG) when he dropped to that first pick of the second round, and the Knicks took him. He was projected as a first rounder, much like our own Scola, and I believe also dropped due to contract uncertainties.

I can't remember who said it but elsewhere someone said NY would be doing a whole lot better in this deal if they got the picks after we drafted the guys, and that's about the only way Isiah won't screw up picks that late.

I think the picks are just sweeteners for yet another trade down the line.
I do to chump thomas wants to dump some of those bad contract and teams are only take them with picks
so thomas gets picks to get of them
