Maybe the game's first truly great QB....who was also a truly great punter and DB.
Sammy was a great Redskin and an important part of football history. He was also tough. Having to play both offense and defense. As did most players of his era.
There's a great obit in the Washington Post. RIP, Samuel Adrian Baugh.
I'll always remember him as one of the greatest players ever.
