He was good on D. He missed shots.

Are you saying that does not happen in the NBA? Duncan could not even get shots UP in the 4th.

Because I could ask you WTF Finley is still doing getting major minutes??????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????

at least come at me with some decent .

If you even watched the game you would have seen West being very timid to even drive on Bonner late in the game. KT and Bonner were raping West on the double team.

So expect this from Bonner in a playoff game.
Like Shawn Marion, he'll go missing when you need him..
I dont know where this Bonner hype came from, but what do you think of
    your man now??

Get over it people, got a game against Orlando tomorrow..

Stupid ass ing Bonner and his stupid double teaming Chris Paul. He is a terrible NBA player with no athleticism.
If Tony Parker actually played any defense in the last 3 weeks Matt Bonner wouldn't have to come out and help double team Paul all the time.

    TP's D has been HORRIBLE.

I don't care about his offense if we keep seeing D like that then it is unacceptable and I'd rather have Hill out there and Parker can sit on the bench.

    IT ALL STARTS WITH DEFENSE!

Bonner made a few mistakes, but at least he tried his ass off out there. It wasn't through a lack of effort. I can't say the same about a lot of other players tonight.

One was Duncan's rotation, but he got screened off. I don't remember on the other one.

I agree Bonner took too many shots, but they were sagging off him on 70% of them. And for all the people saying Bonner isn't athletic - he actually is. I was surprised. Even other than the dunk, he was getting some serious air going for boards, was jerking it away from hornets players, I thought he did a lot of other things to impact the game even though his shooting blowed.

defense on david west was solid. it was when popovich called for the double on paul when things fell apart. parker should have stepped up and defended paul one on one. bonner leaving david west open for the two 3s was the tipping point.

I'm very MAD AT TP. he looks lazy as on defense the last few weeks. Unless he is still injured that is unacceptable. Not good enough TP, NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

He sucked on offense tonight. What's important is how he's been playing recently, and how he plays tomorrow. One game isn't a problem as long as he doesn't get down about it: judging by the number of shots he took today, I doubt it will bother him too much.

Manu's infamous, untimely turnovers are worse. And his effort on that jumpball was pretty bad (yeah, CP didn't have the cleanest jump, but still, he has to get that ball).

I was watching the game and one of the announcers said that Bonner is instructed to shoot when he has a shot and he'll stay in the game. If he passes up looks, he sits. Those are the directions Popovich gave him. Can anyone verify this from the Spurs side?
