If the Spurs can give the Coyote, Stan Kelly and Bill Shoening rings, they can give it to Malik Rose.

Spurs gave Ice a ring...They can give one to whoever they think contributed to the le in what ever way.
A lot of teams leave it up to the players to decide if guys that were traded early in the season deserve rings.
What I meant when i said "no matter what" was that despite the trade if he could still be given a ring he would. Sorry I wasnt clear. It wasnt an exact quote.

That's what Karl Malone should have done. Come out of retirement and play a week or two for the Spurs, then the Pistons, then Miami.
Then retire for good and grab a bucket of popcorn and watch the playoffs to see who finally gets him his ring.
