Can the spurs have sjax ?
Don Nelson is up to his old tricks again. He's doing the same stuff that he hastened his departure from the Warriors, 15 years ago. The same antics that created a void with Mark Cuban in Dallas.

I like SJax.....they can have Udoka and Vaughn...hehehe
I would prefer to take one of their young bigs off their hands.
im thinking biedrins, maybe wrignt
as for nelly, he stinks. i though he had a warriors team to reckon with at one stage, but now hes proving that he doesnt know how to run a team!
agree. i knew this team was on the decline after J-Rich was traded.
Never liked Nellie. He would be a great coach in the D-league. But he doesnt belong in the NBA. Him not talking to Chris Mullins is as stupid as stupid is. I feel for Golden State Fans. They pay good money to watch their team with alot of talent go nowhere year in and year out. And they keep bringing in this sorry coach no matter what. I honestly feel someone owes Nellie alot of something. And thats why he gets to coach in the NBA. Nellie must know something about Stern or someone that Stern doesnt want leaked out. Like Jags words. Defense wins championships. And Nellie doesnt have a clue how teach defense.
I'll take Anthony Randolph off their hands.
Mahinmi + the rights to Splitter. Make it happen, RC.
Trade Oberto, Tolliver, and someone else for that dude.
Stephen Jackson is a Spur always will be.
Now we just need to get him in a jersey if at all possible
I'd give my left nut to have SJax back on the Spurs.
Don't get me wrong, I'm pulling for Mahinmi and I think he could turn out to be a special player, but I also think the Spurs could really use a player with Ian's height, huge upside, and the ability to play the 3 and 4 spot (i.e. that long SF they badly need) and Golden State isn't going to simply give him away for scraps.
Sure, the trade may turn out to be a mistake if Splitter finally decides to play in the NBA someday, but if he doesn't it would probably work out better for the Spurs, especially if Mahinmi turns out to be injury prone.
you have biedrins in splitter
True, but Splitter would be much cheaper.
when splitter comes over he be much cheaper than getting biedrins services, dude is earning what when his new contract kicks in? 10m a season?
if he comes to the spurs his stats will deflate dramatically, and ROI, KPIs will not be worth it imo. just look at the centers we have signed since DROB left, we overpaid for scrubs to contribute 7ppg 7rpg...come on now, we can just sign any athletic big who can rebound, block shots and play defense for half of that price........
Ill have to say Biedrins is playing lights out.
