Yeah thats pretty much my schedule too. Except I am working New Years Eve through the weekend. I'm off the whole week after New Years though.
My wife is today/tomorrow/Friday (nurse) which is pretty crappy but it's gonna happen every now and then. We tried to do early Christmas this weekend with our families. I'll be spending today doing the last minute errands for her and then tomorrow will be chillin with the dog I suppose.
Anyone know of any restaurant chains open tomorrow? I assume Dennys/IHOP. I won't lie, I'm kinda too lazy/crappy of a cook to not F up a meal for dinner tomorrow or I was thinking about maybe picking up food somewhere for her and her coworkers for lunch, but I'm just not sure what will be open. I've heard some more stuff than normal is going to be open this year for Christmas but never heard any names.

Kinda sorta. I'm monitoring the wires from home all day tomorrow and will come in late to work from the newsroom for the late show. I am taking the last few days of the year off, though.

Did it last year, and the weirdest part of the whole ordeal was having to walk into a JackInTheBox on Christmas Day because it was the only thing I could find open for lunch.

well next week is already on my timecard at 40. since we have the 1st off, the 32 hours i will be working will be paid 1.5 on top of that
