Well, are you going to hold us in suspense, or what?
Sunday, March 20, 3:30 p.m. EST. Nationally televised on ABC, there will be no bigger game in the regular season than this one.
Let the truth be told.
Well, are you going to hold us in suspense, or what?
Phoenix? Seattle? Houston? Dallas?
That's the Spurs/Piston game, in Detroit (for those of you who don't have the Spurs calendar downloaded to Outlook and your PDAs.)![]()
The East???
Talk about hyperbole....![]()
Spurs and Pistons are clearly on a collision course and will beat the living out of each other in the Finals.
This will be war- the No Limit Army dude better be jacked for this one.
Pistons are damn scary good right now, and best record in Last10. Carlos got 8 ASTs last night in 20 minutes. A huge pickup for Pistons.
I posted a msg in the NBA forum about Pistons current tough 6-game WC road trip, which started last night and includes Sonics/Suns back to back. If they can go 6-0 or 5-1 in that road trip, the EC winner will be decided. And the Pistons bandwagon will get very crowded.
The Spurs@Pistons in a few weeks will be a preview of the finals.
I still am not counting Shaq out.
I think they can beat Detroit.
My darkhorse is Chicago.
I don't think there's much chance Shaq gets past Detroit is they're healthy. Chicago is a good darkhorse.
Do not forget that the spurs have better scorers and have a better defensive team this year. If the refs dont do the Pistons any favors by calling the perimeter contact rules with less consistancy, something i dont doubt stern might ask them to do, then we should be able to beat them easily in a 7 game series.
Chicago shares the best record in the East(23-9) since Dec 15th and they are 2-1 against Detroit.
Skiles should win COY, no doubt about it.
Detroit is the only team that has ever scared me in a 7-game series. Phoenix is good, but it doesn't play the defense needed to win a le. Seattly has our number in the regular season, but in a series where the coaching staff and team will have time to focus only on the Sonics and play a style specifically designed to beat them I think Seattle goes down too.
Detroit on the other hand has so much size, and they play incredible D. They have also had a great record against the top teams in the league from the very beginning. I like our chances against the Pistons, but they are very capable of taking out the Spurs and repeating. No other team can beat SA without having some help from injuries.
Hate to burst the bubble, but gay ABC will be broadcasting the Pacers vs Nets game on the east coast and the Spurs vs Pistons game will only be shown on the west coast
Seriously, why does ABC do this? Do they honestly think that people will want to watch NJ and Indy or Spurs and Pistons? I wonder where I can write a letter of complaint, because this sucks!
