He always has interesting short stories.
Last night in the chat room, Sequ shared a very disturbing story about leaving the alamodome the other night. I have to admit, this story really bothered me. So much so I couldn't get to sleep last night.
Sequ, if you're out there, I have to put some closure to this thing. I need to hear there was some sort of happy ending to this thing.

oh.. well.. here it goes..
after the alamobowl, my friend and I were driving down Durango and a young girl ran directly into the front of my truck tryin to commit suicide. I slammed on the brakes and came within inches of hitting here and taking her life. She screamed at me and asked me to take her life. It was crazy. Then, she wouldn't move, she kept pounding on the hood of my truck that she didn't want to live anymore. Well this went on for 10 minutes or so, blocking all of the traffic both ways on Durango. Some lady from behind me was so impatient, she went around me and the girl jumped in front of her but landed on top of the hood. I told her to get back in front of my truck and someone was coming to get her (sapd). Well, the police got there and she was about to resist arrest and I thought the cop was going to shock her or something, but I yelled at them to be careful with her that she was suicidal, very emotional and needed help. They finally got her handcuffed and took some statements from me and my friend and asked us to leave, so I really don't know what happened.
Over the 10 minutes, her and I talked about alot of things affecting her life...mom was murdered a year ago, her boyfriend beats her.. he actually hit her and pushed her out of the car.. she wasn't homeless. she was 24, went to a local southside school, etc. I don't want to get to detailed but got her name, her boyfriends phone number, etc.
It was an interesting night.. I couldn't sleep either, I felt bad for her. but thanks for bringing it up gnob.. I meant to tell the story but just didn't have time.
