I was half awake in the first half, and was pissed off at that 6 minute sequence where our offense went to . We were only down 4 at half despite JHo/Terry/Dirk shooting 6/31, so I thought that was a good omen. Terry and Dirk picked it up and our beloved Mavs beat the Sixers sans brand 96-86.
I wont complain about the offensive droughts and lack of FTA's because unfortunately they're a part of the makeup of the team. What I dislike though is our propensity for falling behind by double digits at home to mediocre/bad teams and J-Ho's sucky inefficiency. 14 shots for 10 points tonight, sucks. J-Ho's regression is amazing, literally from a 1.5 option early last year to a 3 option this year who sucks at his job. He should be a 5th option at this point but we don't have anyone better.
The same reason we fall behind to mediocre teams is the same reason we've lost 6 games on our homecourt to the good/elite teams.
Anywho, let's keep taking care of business against the teams we're supposed to beat but if we keep playing with fire by building huge gaps it will bite us in the arse. We've won 18 of our last 23 which is great but you still get a vibe that this team needs to make a move to push itself into the category of elite teams.

Didn't catch this one, but after looking at the box score, I wonder.....can it be true? Did Gerald Green actually log some time? A whole 12 seconds?
And if Dampier keeps putting up these boffo numbers, I might actually consider not hating his guts.
