I'm very disappointed if we go on to lose this game. Story of game is 2nd chance points. Grizz outscoring us 21-8, that's basically the deficit.

Since starting 2-7, Mavs have gone 18-5. Those five losses:
@ LAL: typical Mavs-Lakers game at Staples. Mavs hang tough and lead for most of the game until the third quarter before faltering.
vs SAS: lost in double-OT at home without Josh.
vs Den: poor offensive performance at home in Josh's first game back.
@ NJ: completely the bed when they had every incentive to be up for this game.
@ Utah: listless performance on the 2nd of a b2b when the Jazz were missing Millsap, Boozer and Okur
And they're going to lose today @ the Grizz.
Three of these six losses are "lack of effort and intensity" losses.
I think the excuse today is that the Sunday afternoon time threw them off, and they're still hungover from Beale Street. That's valid!
Can't blame them for that. Beale st. is one wild ass place.

They're 18-6 after a 2-7 start. They're not an elite team, but they're generally headed in the right direction.
Despite how inconsistent Dallas can be from time to time I sure as would hate for SA to face them in the playoffs. They're still a nightmare for the Spurs to matchup with, especially if Howard is back.
Even if they lose tonight, they're still just 2 games out of the #2 spot in the West.

With the 3 gurad lineup of Kidd JJB and JET, Kidd becomes only a defensive specialist bc Barea has the ball in his hands the majoirty of the time. I thiink Carlisle has fallen in love with JJB way too much

I'm sure the Mavs just over looked them....18-6 the last 24 games is pretty good.
Yeah, it's disappointing, because like last year, it looks like it's going to be musical chairs again in the West, and where the difference between the 2nd and 7th seed is like 4 or 5 games.
