i heard over at bill simmons' podcast that the Cs haven't had a chance to practice for a month. whatever adjustment rivers needs/wants to do, he'll have to do it on the fly.

say whatever you want to say about it being a regular season game, but it's a must-win for the Cs. if they lose, i predict a fist-fight in the locker. too bad, we probably won't hear about it though.

Cavs are very focused on this game. They should try create the largest lead possible whilst the Celtics are goin through a rough face because it will hit the Cavs sometime in the season.

The Celtics will shock the world and show everyone what true champs they are when they hand the overrated Cavs their first home loss of the season.

It's tough with Z out, especially against a team that likes to crowd the paint defensively like Boston. Wouldn't shock me to see the Cavaliers lose this one. We're not going 41-0 at home.

+1 it's going to be an exiting game, I'm sure the Celtics will react, we can expect big minutes for the big 3 in Cleveland. One of the key will be the 3s of Allen, if he is hot the Celts have a good chance to make it.

By the same token, we're going to need Boobie and Wally to be hot from outside, since the driving lanes for the most part won't be there. We'll need to rebound well, too- we've been up-and-down in that department since Z went down.

Maybe Andy can piss off KG a little bit while we're at it. He has a gift for getting under peoples' skin.

The Cavs will crap dribble their way to a victory

Can we stop saying that now?

Cavs win easily, I'll admit I was wrong about the C's, the Lakers winning on Christman ed with their heads a lot more than it should.

God I hope the Cavs destroy the Celtics, for someone like me who watched his team get murdered in game 7 in Boston this is great. I wish the Celtics all the worst!

I think Boston's problems come from lack of motivation. After the big game against L.A., they have played nothing but junk teams...Warriors, Kings, Blazers, Wizards, Knicks, Bobcats, Rockets......Cleveland took them to 7 games last year, so Boston will be more than ready and motivated for this game. Besides, the league loves Boston more than LeBron, they'll find a way to have Boston be the winner in this one. Either way, easy W for Boston. We can't have Cleveland have the best record in the league.
