I do not understand the Utah hate. Yes they played a pancake schedule. Yes Alabama was overrated. But many college teams have played pancake schedules that made it to the Champ Game. And after tonight, I think Florida was overrated too. (FYI ou chokes in bowl games, just in case you did not realize....)
I think it is impossible to not include them in a hypothetical brainstorm championship game after tonight.

ALA was overrated btw. you both are right there. FLA was not overrated to me, their D was lights out! Held OU to 14 PTS and held them twice in the firs thalf in the red zone, now thats great D! FLA is as good as anyone out there IMO, they proved it. Hpothetical or not I think Utah is overrated from that ALA game, I think a few teams would beat them out there, FLA, USC and maybe Texas, but then again Texas struggled against Ohio State, don't really know how good they were.

i was going to let you have your fun, and congrats, but i think USC's defense would have eaten up both teams tonight.
...fun game to watch though. both teams had their chance, florida was a little better under the pressure.
Florida didn't really win as much as they simply sucked less than Oklahoma.

The Florida Gators deserve about as much credit for winning this game as the Indianapolis Colts do for winning Super Bowl XLI. The Colts got lucky drawing the Bears and playing against Rex Grossman, who chokes harder than Manning in big games. The Gators got lucky drawing Oklahoma for the BCS le game, because Oklahoma turns into Chokelahoma in BCS games. Even the damn BCS computer has SEC bias, sending the Gators a guaranteed win.

At least the Colts vs Bears game was decided by a playoff........so the Colts played who deserved and qualified to be there. The BCS? Yeah, you are right........its bull .
