I heard that he's been bothered by a groin injury the past 7 weeks, is Popovich keeping him out for this reason or is he gonna play tomorrow against Cleveland?

The last I heard was that he "might" play against Cleveland on Monday and for sure he'd play Wednesday. They are not citing the groin injury as the reason though. They say it's because they want to get him familiar with the system.
