I truly think the Big XII was overrated for the first time in awhile. I think Florida, USC and Utah could beat any team in that conference. They didnt play any D......it was all offense..........that will not cut it.

Fact is OU played good D against Florida. UT played pretty solid D throughout, except for Tech game. Other than that though, you're right. Other than OU and UT, teams generally didn't play good D.

Texas' D should improve next year with a year under Muschamp and a year's experience for very young secondary. Gaps to fill up front though with departures of Roy Miller and Brian Orakpo.

Utah would lose to Texas and Oklahoma during the season. This is the same Utah that needed two missed chip shots from TCU to win the game. The same TCU that OU destroyed during the season. Utah just played an uninspired Alabama team that many thought was overrated anyway.
