Don't knock Rasho so much, he is the starting center on the best team in the league and defensively one of top 6-7 centers in league when motivated = this trade may help him get motivated more!
Hopefully it anything better then what Rasho can do and we will be fine

You are still dumb, why should Rasho be better?
Have they officially said Naz will play?
He will suck ass, and we will all rue the day that Malik was traded.
How many days are we allowed to rue, before our entire year is all screwed up?
I mean we rue many days as Spurs fans.
Some examples, the day we drafted Alfrederick Hughes, the day we traded for Charles Smith, the .4 sec day, the day we traded Sean Elliott to Detroit and Ice to Chicago, the day TD went down in the Sacto game where he tore his meniscus, the day DRob broke his finger and missed the playoffs, right before the Phoenix playoff series when we got swept, the day Malone knocked DRob out, etc etc.....

No passes for you!!!
He probably won't play. Pop looks like he's in full coddle mode.
If a trade get motivated Rasho more, iīm going to trade every week for a Center in Next Year
Thatīs things never work, If one player need more motivation he must so sit in the bench
Last year Pop moved Manu to the bench, to motivated Hedo as a Starter, but the Playoff are enough motivation to anybody, but if you are a chicken the motivation isnīt enough
May be one or two games, 5 or 10, but in the playoff you will be back to earth and make nothing again
Didn't want to start another thread so I will ask it here since we're asking how Nazr will do tonight, does anyone think he will eventually take over the number 5 spot as a starter?
I think obtaining Nazir sends a strong message to Rasho that he better get his together, or he could end up either (a) sitting on the bench or (b) possibley getting traded. I don't see how Rasho couldn't see this recent trade as a potential warning sign for him as a player with the Spurs IMO.
respect the 'fro
Oh man, how can you be so stupid? Rasho must collect rebs and blocks first, than points.
I am in trouble now... where is tlong when you need him? :p
I think will probably do a good job of keeping the bench from blowing away in Gund Arena tonight.
This article just came out. I wonder if Nazr might actually be injured.
Hopefully he isn't damaged goods.
"damaged goods."
dammit, his jan/feb numbers are really a lower than nov/dec.
damn,damn,damn
iF Rasho can become his Offensive rebounds (2,7) in Points, with Only this he is 5,4 Points a game, now is 5,7
If he's been struggling because of injuries, but playing with a bad groin, it would seem to me to be some evidence that he grinds his way through injuries, and plays (even if ineffectively) if his team needs it.
By the way, as he's "struggled" and dealt with injury in January/February, he's also put up games of:
18 points, 13 rebounds
22 points, 11 rebounds
16 points, 17 rebounds
21 points, 10 rebounds
16 points, 10 rebounds
Maybe Rasho needs to strain a groin, too?
The injury has been well known except to Spurs fans because he wasn't our player, but again this was no big secret.
That's why I mentioned in another post or asked if he wasn't playing because they wanted to rest his injury.
Either way as mentioned he's still played well even with the injury and limited minutes under a new head coach..
Nazr only plays if we get a big lead during the game or if we are losing badly which I don't see happening tonight. but if we do maybe we can start getting a closer look at what he can bring to the table.
IMO his numbers will drop, especially PTS, in the Spurs system. But if he proves me wrong i'll be happy.
