Check the cabins at Bastrop State Park. They might be booked by now but with the economy in the toilet maybe not so much.
My in-laws want to come visit over spring break. I'm assuming there won't be any quiet place to go on the beach. Do y'all have any recommendations for a pretty lake-front cabin that would hold possibly 3 couples and a few kids? Last year I went to Lake Brownwood with some friends and it was really nice to sit on the shore and watch the kids play. Very quiet and peaceful. Do y'all know of any place closer that isn't too pricey?
