If he's so good then how come the Heat traded for HITA?
And he's been complaining all season about being on the IR.
IMO, you sign Person to fill Sato's slot.
How perfect would Wesley Person be on THIS team?!?!?!?!?!

I think Person's agent said if the buyout was completed, he'd be signing with the Nuggets.
Why would Person want to come here and be like the 7th guard?
That might actually be a pretty shrewd move for Denver. They're close enough now to be compe ive for a low-end playoff slot and Person gives them a suddenly very motivated guy who can offer some of the same qualities they've been lacking since Lenard got hurt on opening night.
It's going to be a good rumble for that 8th spot.
Re Mourning it will be interesting to see how much he plays with Shaq and his knee etc.
Since mourning and person were signed today, are they not allowed to be on the playoff roster?
There was a discussion about this already. I think the qualifier is that you be RELEASED by 1 March.
but mourning cleared waivers last week.
that makes him a free agent...wouldnt that make him ineligible?
The deadline to sign or be released is midnight tonight. So he's eligible.
Also if it's a player that hasn't been on an NBA team this season (for example an NBDL or CBA player) they can be signed after March 1 and still be put on the playoff roster.
maybe pat riley aint as smart as you think maybe. If he's so good then how come the Heat traded for HITA?
Practice what you preach high and mighty.
Pat Riley and Van GUndy aint right ALL the time.
Pat Riley is a better coach than Wilkins is a player...I don't know about gming because he has kind of sucked as a GM...until this year.
because some feel heat will be in the finals facing spurs
Ok, I think the Spurs should sign another big or a backup point guard.
