If I am not mistaken, he is asking the EPA if Cali. can legally change federal emission standards (in that, their law must comply with federal law, not to exceed or minimize).
Right now, Cali exceeds.
Exactly. It is a states' rights issue, pure and simple. If Cali wants tougher emissions, so be it, IMO. But Big Brother has other plans.
I hope the Federal Government increases the emission standards. But if they did that, the Big Three automakers would ask for even more loans.
So does that mean no whining from Wild Cobra?
