SAN ANTONIO – A three-alarm fire is burning north of Downtown. Around 6 p.m., the SAFD was called to Marshall St. and San Pedro Ave. There have been reports of some people being treated for smoke inhalation.

It’s not clear what’s burning, but it may be multi-family dwelling. News 4 WOAI crew reports it’s a two-story structure with flames leaping 30-40 feet into the air.

According to the SAFD Website, 29 units have been dispatched.

Probably an insurance deal. That place is just down the street from my office and was a dump. Funny, I drove by it a couple of days ago and wondered to myself when they were gonna tear that hole down.
